LISA MOORE

Lisa Moore is an Ohio native, raised in Miami, and moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1998. She’s a graduate of Florida International University with a business degree in marketing/management. Lisa understands the value of hard work as she worked full time while taking college classes at night.

In 1983, Lisa began working in the insurance industry - first as a file clerk at a local insurance company. Then in Property and Casualty insurance (adjuster, accident investigator, legal department liaison and subrogation specialist) and ran her first department in 1986.

Lisa became an experienced full time caregiver and home schooler when her daughter was born. Through being a full time caregiver, she understands the complexities of accessing care, interfacing with insurance companies and managing care for a loved one. She greatly understands the need for education around health care and navigating the insurance industry. She whole-heartedly believes that information is power.

Once her daughter was in high school, Lisa wanted to be of help to people and gain a solid foundation in Medicare benefits. She began working with Medicare recipients in 2013 with UnitedHealthCare as an internal career agent.

After many years of experience, she became an independent broker in 2019; and can now offer greater options to Medicare beneficiaries beyond UnitedHealthcare. She is authorized to offer more than 10 health insurance carriers.

Lisa is passionate about researching insurance options, understanding the differences between companies and plans, evaluating Medicare Beneficiaries needs and meeting people face-to-face to help them navigate the complexities of transitioning to Medicare. She is an experienced and knowledgeable resource to her clients.

When she’s spending time outside of work, Lisa has an immense love for her family and resides in the Tampa Bay area with her husband and has two college-aged daughters. Lisa comes from a long line of artists. Her mother was a professional artist and (prior to COVID-19), Lisa had been teaching rock painting at local senior centers. Lisa’s love for art also tends to merge with her desire to travel - which she does whenever she can - seeing the beauty in the world everywhere she goes!
